Friday 12 June – Lots of updates today!
Thank you so much for all the photos you have sent in as part of our Kaimes In Action. Thanks also to all those learners who submitted entries for our Art Challenge. What fantastic work!
Holiday Video – Your chance to send a message to everyone:
My final 9.30am Headteacher update for this academic session will be on Friday 26th June. As part of this I have asked the school staff to send me videos wishing our learners and their families well for the holidays. As part of this I would like to ask YOU to send me videos with messages for the staff and your friends.
I will put all the messages together into a whole school video. This will feature on the website. I am also very happy to receive videos with the adults at home sharing their child’s message on their behalf. This need not be more than a few seconds (no more than 15 seconds). Landscape videos would be preferred. Videos should be sent to me by 4.30pm on Monday 22 June. I will send the submission contact number in a text message. This can be done in WhatsApp or text message.
Over the past month, Mr Scott and Mr Tierney have been busy putting together the leavers assembly and this will also be shared in the last week of term.
Transition Packs for Returning Learners
These should arrive in the post over the weekend or Monday. If you have not received a pack by Tuesday, please let your KEY ADULT know and we will have a new pack sent to you. New learners will receive them on their transition days next week.
Friday PE with Mr McBride
Have a lovely weekend.
Wednesday 10 June – Senior Assembly
On Friday this week we will be sending, by post, the first of your transitions packs for August. These will include details on who your class teacher is, who is in your class group, which room you will arrive to on your first day and some information on SCERTS. This information is part of a staged roll out of information over the coming weeks. As we head toward the summer holidays, more information will follow.
My sincere thanks for your trust, patience and understanding. I appreciate, as a parent of school aged children myself, that you will want to know what the experience will look like next year for your child.
