Video 1: Accessing Office 365 for Kaimes Learners
1. Go onto your internet browser Steps to Success 2. Type in ‘Kaimes School’ 3. This will take you to the home page. Select the ‘Home Learning Hub’ from the menu at the top of the page. 4. Scroll down and just above the video there are three buttons. One of which is ‘Learner Access Office 365’ 5. Click on ‘Learner Access Office365 6. Using the log in details we have sent you in text and email, enter your user name (long number) and password. 7. This will take you to the Offcie365 home page. If you are asked to enter an email address type in your username plus ‘@ea.edin.sch.uk’ (and not the email address we sent you). 8. When in Office, select the Outlook app: This is a blue logo on the left of your page 9. It may take you to a page that you need to select the time. If it does scroll down and select ‘+00:00 London, Lisbon, Dublin’ then press ‘save’. 10. If it doesn’t ask you to set the time then you have successful entered your school email account 11. To access your One Note folders, open one of the emails I have sent you, and click ‘OPEN’ on he email invitation I have sent. Do this for all the emails I have sent to your inbox. 12. Video 2: Accessing OneNote on Office 365 for Kaimes Learners
1. Open your internet browser and type ‘Kaimes School’ into the address box Steps to Success 2. Go to the menus at the top of the page and click on ‘Home Learning Hub’ 3. Scroll down the Home Learning Hub page to the ‘Learner Access Office 365’ button and click on it. 4. If you are asked to enter an email address type in your username plus ‘@ea.edin.sch.uk’ (and not the email address we sent you). 6. Your Office 365 home page will then load. Just to the right of the centre of the page you will see a purple logo with ‘OneNote’. Click on this to enter OneNote. 7. Select the file that you want to explore. 8. For learners in Primary to S3 classes you will likely access folders from early, first, second and third level. For learners in secondary classes you may also want to access these as well as National 2,3,4 and 5 folders. 9. Now that you’ve successfully set up your OneNote, contact a friend from Kaimes and see if they need any help with their set up.
